Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo likes to play bingo with his friends and has admitted that he finds the game "very exciting", it has been reported.
The footballer is well known for his spectacular ball skills on the pitch but according to the Daily Star, he has recently discovered the joys of another beautiful game.
"It can be very exciting because you can be there waiting for a long time for just the one number to make the game complete," the paper quoted him as telling reporters in his native Portugal.
The competitive aspect of bingo game play also appeals to Ronaldo, with the star explaining: "You see one of your friends you are playing against get his lucky number before you."
A source at Manchester United told the Daily Star that it is "absolutely no surprise" that the player enjoys the game.
Ronaldo is just the latest celebrity to discover the excitement bingo game play can offer, with Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman and chat show host Ricki Lake both taking part in a charity bingo event in Los Angeles last year.
