The grandmother from Gosforth in the north-east of England has been rewarded with a £450,000 Platinum win that will allow her to retire – and do so in style.
Bingo joy came when she was playing at the Gala Club in Gateshead alongside her 39-year-old daughter, with whom she will share her National Bingo Game Platinum Jackpot play-off winnings.
She told the site: "This will make such a difference to me; it has changed my life already. I am sharing with my daughter and we both screamed and cried when they told us how much we had won.
"I was more than happy with the £3,267 cash they handed me on the night for the club and house prizes. I didn't know about the Platinum Game. It is just great, absolutely unbelievable."
