Reporter experiences the fun of bingo |

With the likes of Robbie Williams and Catherine Zeta Zones no strangers to the odd game of bingo, a writer from the Liverpool Echo visited her local bingo club to see what all the fuss was about.
With many online bingo providers trying to spice up the activity's image and appeal more to a younger audience, Jane Haase went along to her local Mecca Bingo to experience the game first hand.
One thing she instantly noticed was the opportunity to play bingo through a computer so more cards can be played at once, an option called Bingo Plus.
The club's general manager Brian Hennigan, told the newspaper: "The way forward is electronic bingo. It's exciting, it's new."
Players also had the choice of playing the more traditional game with a bingo caller, shouting out familiar terms, reported Ms Haase.
From attending the bingo club, Ms Haase didn't see the game as sexy, but definitely thought it was a fun way to spend an evening.
And it can also provide lucky players with a decent cash prize, as a loyal player in Wishaw, who has played the game for ten years scooped £16,000.
