A library assistant from Scotland has raked in an array of bingo prizes after a session of bingo game play that will have earned her a generous holiday, Nationalbingo.co.uk reports.
The site revealed that a woman playing at the Gala Club in the North Lanarkshire town of Cumbernauld on Sunday afternoon was blessed with the good fortune of winning £270,486.
Completing a full house in 45 numbers - the lowest amount in any nationwide club the lucky winner was able to combine the earnings of the Platinum Jackpot prize (£259,113) with the Sunday afternoon National Game prize, the Zone prize, the Club prize and the more modest house prize.
While planning to pay off her mortgage before painting the town red, the winner has claimed that trips to Las Vegas one of the world's top locations to play bingo and Egypt could soon be on the cards.
She told the site: "My mum started me off playing bingo as soon as I was old enough at 18, and we play together at the Gala two or three times a week.
"I will pay off our mortgage first and then have a holiday or two. Top of the list for me is Egypt and Las Vegas."
Another dream holiday has been yielded by bingo game play for a mother-of-three in Deptford, who was last week granted an £80,000 jackpot win that she will use for a US holiday and perhaps further travel in the Caribbean.
