Bingo fans were treated to a rare treat recently, when American singer and Dukes of Hazzard star Jessica Simpson performed at a bingo hall in California.
Simpson burst onto the scene in 1999 with the track I Wanna Love You Forever, before the hit Irresistible also sold well in 2001.
But, after a stint in film, she has returned to music and performed in front of a bingo hall which holds 2,500 people.
And an insider told OK Magazine that Simpson failed to be given the same size dressing room that she may have been used to in the past. The magazine was told: "Jessica's dressing room at the bingo hall was a little larger than a broom closet.
"Theres an iron, but no ironing board. Theres not even a fridge."
Many bingo fans still choose to play the activity in traditional bingo halls, but a blog on Bingo Street states that online bingo would offer a player more convenience.
Among the convenient features of playing bingo online is that a wannabe player can have a game whenever they want and potentially avoid having to face any bad weather.
