A bingo bootcamp will be open for revellers at the Electric Picnic music festival this coming weekend.
Two grannies will be hosting the event and providing budding bingo enthusiasts with free lessons after enjoying the event last year.
A year ago, grandmother Eileen Murphy and her friend great-grandmother Eileen McGillycuddy, together known as 'Electric Eileens', gained free tickets to last year's event after winning a raffle. And after tapping their feet to the Chemical Brothers and bopping at the silent disco the duo from Co Kenny enjoyed themselves so much they plan to return to provide bingo lessons to festival goers in the giant bingo tent, as a way of marking the 60th birthday of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
According to the Irish Examiner, the duo are also featuring in a YouTube video posted on the internet by Amnesty International, showing them pouring shots of whisky into their tea cups and wearing their pink and yellow wellies.
The Electric Picnic festival is held in the town of Stradbally in Ireland East and runs for three days, starting on August 29th.
