Bingo game play fans are to get the chance to enjoy another series of popular ITV1 show Golden Balls after the channel commissioned a third series.
The show, fronted by comedian Jasper Carrott, airs every weekday and has proved to be a ratings smash, with the Sun reporting that its series finale last Friday was watched by 3.3 million people.
The figures came despite the fact the show airs opposite Channel 4 tea-time star Paul O'Grady, who could only muster 2.5 million viewers.
ITV1 has announced that Golden Balls will return to the airwaves at the end of April, with programme makers promising a host of exciting new twists to keep viewers glued to their sofas.
Some shows will be single-sex, with groups of men or women vying to scoop the big prize, while players who have previously appeared on the show but gone home empty handed will be invited to try their luck once more.
The sums on offer can be quite substantial, with former contesetant Sarah Noughton winning £100,150.
