A 45-year-old Hinckley woman is planning to buy her husband a new car and pay for a holiday for her 21-year-old son and his girlfriend after striking lucky in a bingo game play session, according to National Bingo.
The woman was playing bingo in the Flutters Club in Rugby Road, Hinckley when she won a £61,000 bingo jackpot.
She completed a full house in 41 calls and won the National prize of £60,000 alongside the regional and house prizes.
The winner blames her mum for getting her hooked on bingo.
She told National Bingo: "My mum was an avid bingo player and she started me off playing as soon as I was old enough at 18.
"Everyone is very friendly at the club and there was a fantastic atmosphere when they announced how much I had won with everyone clapping and cheering me."
Another bingo player saw her patience pay off when she scooped an £18,000 bingo cash prize in Great Yarmouth recently, the largest win of her life at bingo.
