Current X Factor judge has seen a complete turnaround within the last 12 months after coming out on top in a recent poll from Mecca Bingo.
The Girls Aloud singer has reached number one in the poll of the top ten role models for British women.
In the same poll last year, the wife of Chelsea football star Ashley Cole finished bottom, earning her the unwanted honour of the worst example to the nation's females.
This year it was Amy Winehouse who scooped this honour.
Harry Potter author JK Rowling finished second in the poll, followed by the Queen in third.
Lesley Hughes of Mecca Bingo said: "It's interesting to see how much public opinion of Cheryl has changed."
The 25-year-old singer also recently reached the top of the music charts, with The Promise, the first single off of Girls Aloud's new album Out of Control, giving the girl band their fourth number one.
Playing bingo online or at a traditional hall can appeal to all different characters, not just older women as is traditionally believed, according to a recent article in the Bellingham Herald.
