Celebrities expected to attend New York bingo events

Bingo game play fans are expected to head to Times Square in New York in order to take part in a fundraising drive designed to help people living with HIV/Aids, it has been reported.
According to BroadwayWorld.com, a slew of celebrities are set to act as bingo callers at three bingo games on May 11th, June 8th and July 27th, with the money raised going to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
The organisation, which was founded in 1988, helps fund services for people who have the disease and has so far raised more than $140 million (£70.9 million) for the cause.
As well as enjoying a bingo game play session which could earn them to tickets to shows such as Avenue Q as well as special memorabilia from Wicked, Spamalot and Hairspray guests at the Broadway Bingo event will also be able to listen to performers belting out some of their favourite tunes during the evening.
Stars who have supported Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS events in the past include Julie Andrews, Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Jackman.
