Bingo fans in Burton may have to turn their attentions to playing bingo online, after a popular evening of the activity has been played for the final time, reports the Burton Mail.
Monthly bingo nights have been played at the local town hall for the past two years, which have attracted crowds of up to 150 people.
The event was organised by Iris Dolling and Sandra Phillips and raised an estimated £20,000 for the County Air Ambulance.
However, ill health has meant that the duo are no longer able to keep the events running.
Mrs Dolling told the newspaper: "It was a brilliant night but everyone was very sad that it is ending - they all said 'oh no, what are we going to do now'.
"Unfortunately, it's a 24/7 job and we're just not able to keep organising it."
Another charity campaigner is to host a Christmas bingo event as she aims to take her fundraising collections past £25,000, the Fakenham Times recently reported.
