A current bingo game play provider has been made an MBE, in the latest set of awards announced by the Queen.
Bingo entrepreneur Norman Jacobs, has been buying theatres since he was in his 20s and still owns some today, despite being past retirement age.
Some of which he uses to provide bingo sessions and cinemas.
Mr Jacobs now owns theatres in Wisbech, Bury St Edmonds and Fakenham and back in the day would set up Saturday night dances in Wisbech that brought some of the biggest names in showbiz to the Corn Exchange.
These included Ken Dodd, Tom Jones and the Hollies, but the Beatles proved to be out of his price range.
Mr Jacobs said of his MBE: "I was delighted and obviously very surprised. I am just amazed really."
The father of three has also done his share of charity work over time.
Earlier this month, celebrities including GMTV presenter Fiona Phillips and Birds of a Feather star Linda Robson helped raise money for charity by taking part in online bingo games.
And according to the Mirror they helped raise £13,000 for children with Leukaemia.
