A Christmas pantomime is to be hosted at the strange venue of a bingo hall in Sheffield, reports the Sheffield Star.
The performance of 'Woodcutter and the Wolf' is set to take place this Sunday at the Mecca Bingo hall on Fleet Street, with all the money raised from ticket sales to be donated to the children's charity Whizz-Kidz.
Panto fans wishing to view the production should make sure they have taken their seats by 10.45am, with the show being performed by a theatre group called Chaplins.
The group commonly perform pantomimes in schools around the UK.
On an annual level Mecca Bingo set itself a £250,000 target to support the children's charity, which aims to support disabled children in their quest to become more independent.
Recently, a Mecca Bingo hall in South Tyneside stated that it had exceeded its own fundraising target for the year.
The club had set itself a target of raising £3,500 for Whizz-Kidz, but has already pulled together £4,000 through activities including charity nights and coffee mornings, the Shields Gazette reported.
