A bingo hall manager from Wakefield is to get on his bike to raise money for charity, reports the Huddersfield Examiner.
Steve Jones, who works at Huddersfield's Folly Hall Mecca Bingo hall, will pedal from London to Paris on behalf of children's charity Whizz-Kidz.
The 22-year old will tackle the six-day route, which begins on July 1st, alongside Craig O'Neill, manager of the Mecca hall in Leicester.
Steve told the newspaper: "The ride will no doubt be a challenge, but it is one we are both looking forward to doing."
He added that bingo game play club members, friends and family have already made donations but further donations are still required.
Nationally, Mecca hopes to raise £250,000 for the charity.
The Cheshire News reported earlier this week that bingo hall staff from Ellesmere Port are climbing Mount Snowden to raise money for the charity.
