A bingo fan has reached his personal goal for the year and scooped his 100th prize playing the activity, reports the Huddersfield Examiner.
The newspaper reported recently that Brian Parker had reached 88 wins playing bingo in 2008 and this success has now reached 100.
The 73-year-old granddad has stated that this is the most successful year of playing bingo in his life, with his winnings topping the £10,000 barrier.
He told the newspaper: "I've been playing bingo for 25-30 years and never been this successful. It's something I really enjoy and it's always better to go home with some brass.
"Of course the other people at the bingo are hoping I'll not turn up so they get a chance, but it's all in jest. I don't know if I'll ever have as good a year as this, but I can only hope."
His winning streak is far superior to the 43 successes he witnessed last year and the 37 wins he accrued in 2006.
Some 50 bingo players recently split the £250,000 prize pool on offer in the Christmas Bingo bonus from National Bingo.
