A merry Christmas could be in store for a female bingo fan in Sheffield after she scooped £174,367 playing the activity.
The 55-year-old Stannington woman claimed the prize after winning the 'High 5' jackpot at Gala Bingo.
Sheffield Wadsley's 110-person strong bingo community will also split another £165,352 under the rules of the High 5 game, which offers groups of people who play bingo to share a jackpot.
The winner stated afterwards: "It's a wonderful feeling. The club was in uproar. Everyone was thanking me and there were some lovely personal stories.
"A lady came up to me in the toilets and said 'you've really made my Christmas' - that just says it all. I'm still in shock."
Deputy manager of the bingo hall, Russell Coggan, added that the win left everyone "charged up" while the general atmosphere in the hall was "electric".
However, Cumbria appears to be the luckiest place to play bingo, with a spate of four national bingo winners in the past six months.
