28th August 2008 |
Bingo is a "lovely game" according to one woman who recently scooped a cash prize of £30,000 playing the activity, reports National Bingo.
The 65-year-old from Stowmarket chooses to play bingo in Ipswich three times a week but has said that she would happily play every night if she lived nearer the Gala Club in Ipswich, where the prize was won.
She plays at the club with her sister-in-law, who is to be the lucky recipient of half of the winnings.
The pair have both also seen recent bingo success at the hall, as they have each had wins of £1,000 and the family member has also scooped a £5,000 cash prize.
She told National Bingo: "Bingo is a lovely, friendly game.
"I'd go to the Gala every night if I lived in Ipswich. Everybody cheered and shouted when I won. There was a wonderful atmosphere."
The woman is to treat her husband to a possible cruise down the Rhine with the winnings to celebrate his 70th birthday, while some may be spent on her three children, 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Another bingo player in Stourbridge claimed a £17,000 cash prize which she is to put towards her wedding. Play Bingo Online at WinBonanza, one of the UK's leading bingo sites with online instant win games and more! Login or register now and start playing. |
